Richard Woodhouse

Richard has 17 years E&P experience combining senior technical work, management and petroleum economics roles. With an honours degree in Chemical Engineering, Richard worked in oil and gas engineering consultancy before moving to an engineering position within Shell UK. After four years as a Senior Engineer, Richard became a Petroleum Economist, eventually leading the economics team for Operated Assets, Europe.  Richard then moved back into a senior role within a leading oil and gas consultancy before setting up Dundas.

Alan Crerar

Alan has over 25 years of relevant experience. After completing a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Alan worked for a leading engineering software company before moving to oil and gas consulting, and Aberdeen, in 1998. Since then, he has worked in engineering consultancy with a focus on integrated asset modelling, value assessment and opportunity appraisal. From 2007, Alan has also worked on a number of carbon sequestration and enhanced oil recovery projects, particularly the Marathon Oil/Scottish Power Longannet project as Lead Commercial Analyst for Marathon Oil.

Grahame is a reservoir engineer with over 25 year’s subsurface experience covering early appraisal to late-life field management. He has worked on clastic and carbonate reservoirs in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. His experience ranges from primary depletion to tertiary recovery, and encompasses Carbon Capture and Storage and CO2 EOR. He has managed multi-disciplinary teams and led industrial/ academic consortia comprising a few to ~100 members.

John Mercer

John has over 22 years of experience  in upstream oil & gas engineering - 10 years consulting and 12 years in a range of engineering companies, including a spell as Shell’s Brent Asset Process Engineer. He brings a wealth of experience and practical knowledge, as well as a sound understanding of business value drivers .

During his career, John has designed, optimised or supported oil and gas facilities operating in 24 different countries. He has led 22 conceptual / feasibility level tieback studies in the UKCS, among a number of other studies, for onshore oil terminals and gas plants, as well as offshore installations and onshore production facilities.

Graeme holds an M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and has over ten years upstream oil and gas experience including development concept selection and operations support. Very experienced in integrated asset modelling and techno-economic evaluation.

Natasha Hird

Natasha Hird

Consultant Development Engineer

Natasha has 16 years E&P experience with major international operators. With a first class honours degree in Chemical Engineering Natasha joined Shell International E&P in the Netherlands working on onshore and offshore oil and gas fields in operations and process engineering for 4 years. Natasha then joined Shell in Norway to work on subsea and deepwater technology development and the development of the giant deepwater Ormen Lange gas field. In 2006 Natasha joined TOTAL E&P UK working on TOTAL's west of Shetland developments, including appraisal studies, concept select and pre-FEED studies. Natasha then represented TOTAL's interests in the Kashagan Phase II development during pre-FEED.

Simon holds a 1st class honours degree in Chemical Engineering and has worked in both client side (Centrica) and consultancy roles. His experience combines detailed technical work and EP management activities and includes exposure to onshore and offshore plant operations.

Rizwan holds an MEng degree in Chemical Engineering. His nine years of oil and gas industry experience spans feasibility, FEED and detailed design projects. Recent responsibilities include leading a process team for a challenging giant Iraqi oil field development project during conceptual design and FEED.

Ryan holds an MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering and has three years experience of engineering and project management in the Nuclear industry on Magnox sites prior to joining Dundas.
